COMMITMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

The promotion and the opening of foreign markets is the big bet now in GUTTI, because private institutions and specialized Spanish economic forecasters estimate that the economic situation in Spain will remain very difficult in the coming months and therefore the gutter sector will continue to suffer severely the effects of the crisis.

Therefore, GUTTI is currently developing an ambitious strategic plan of expansion abroad, mainly in Poland, where   we opened an office in the city of Czestochowa on March.

Our product is virtually unknown in Poland and we will devote all our energy and enthusiasm in promoting it, because we are convinced that there is  a great potential for development prospects given the country's economic growth over the coming years.

Today, Gutti products are present in Spain, France, Poland, Morocco, Gabon Romania, the Czech Republic, Holland and Norway, and we are taking action to promote our company in other European Union countries.

The  general manager of GUTTI, Mr Juan Alonso, points out  that internationalization of the company is a necessity in a world increasingly close and opening new markets  is  very important and an opportunity to manage the difficulties and find  a solution to the crisis.

Internationalization is a commitment to stay on the path of growth, and to do business as  we must act without complexes, with courage and determination. Is a strategic investment of the entrepreneur who wants to extend and expand its operations in an environment surrounded by difficulties and opportunities.

In GUTTI we fancy  the plans we're working on, and  we invite you to join our project for the future with  all those who are interested in our company.

ALUMINIUM, THE BEST OPTION FOR GUTTERS

The use of pre-painted aluminium for making gutters has become very common in recent years and our manufacturing system is widely implemented in countries such as Spain, France, Portugal, United Kingdom, Belgium, Ireland and Holland. In another ones, such as Denmark, Norway, Poland and Romania, they are starting to know the advantages of using seamless gutters made with roll forming machines and pre-painted aluminium coils, thanks to the important work that GUTTI is doing in marketing.

The most abundant metal

Aluminium is the most abundant metal and it is the third most common element, comprising 8 percent of the earth’s crust. Its versatility makes it the most widely used metal after steel.

Although aluminium compounds have been used for thousands of years, aluminium metal was first produced 170 years ago. In the 100 years since the first quantities of aluminium were produced, worldwide demand for aluminium has grown to around 29 million tons per year. About 22 million tons is new aluminium and 7 million recycled aluminium scrap.

Great qualities
Pure aluminium is ductile, corrosion resistant and has a high electrical conductivity. It is widely use for foils and  conductor cables, but  alloying with other elements is necessary to provide the higher strengths needed for other applications. Aluminium is one of the lightest engineering metals, having a strength to weight ratio superior to steel.
By utilizing various combinations of its advantageous properties such as strength, lightness, corrosion resistance, recyclability and formability, aluminium is being employed in an ever-increasing number of applications. This array of products ranges from structural materials through to thin packaging foils, in the building, aircraft, car, naval industry and others.
